<p>I'm incredibly proud and honoured to have our nbn® Assistant AI chatbot recognised and win the Artificial Intelligence category at the 2023 ACOMM Awards last night!</p>



<p>Run by the Communications Alliance, "The ACOMM Awards represent the pinnacle of achievement for the Australian communications industry". A huge thanks to ALL those that have supported this journey since we embarked on it back in 2017, including The Works Sydney and more recently Google and InGenious AI.</p>



<p>Special thanks to Jo Beat and Mark Kessler for believing in and supporting this, without you none of this would be.</p>



<p>The journey of the nbn® Assistant started back in 2017 when I prepared the initial mockup and business case to get buy-in for the capability, through to the fully fledged AI virtual assistant it is today. The foundation for this work was built on <a href="/ai-in-practice/voice-of-customer-analysis/">Voice of Customer (VOC) analysis</a> — translating real customer enquiries into chatbot content.</p>
